Dave - you didn't answer his question at all.
I have to wonder though - how many people in say the last three years have been successful with ENTIRE F#1 systems? two or three maybe?
By your own reasoning that seems to be a pretty thin field.

dukk , i answered his question with logical reasoning, he asked if he could, i said to check and see if others are and they arent, that doesnt mean that he cant and i never said he couldnt. i then recommended he listen to lots speakers and make a choice, how can that make the field thin, it makes it as big as it can be and if soundstream is it for him then so be it. i never said to buy alpine f#1 speakers or even to specifically listen to them
btw dukk it seems you answered this thread to reply to me and not the guy asking for input, so it seems you didnt answer his question either, neither dwvw or mr2nr, but you didnt respond to their posts, why?
btw, corey himmel won the usaci world finals and grand master and the recent spring break nationals with the f#1 speakers,cd player and processor. and im pretty sure thats a good thing, i think thats more than say, another brand like coustic could say, but im not sure. interestingly enough in talking to himmel at the finals he attributes the sucess of his van to f#1. he doesnt use the amps because he isnt even an alpine dealer, he bought f#1 from another alpine reatailer because he thought it would take him to the next level, and it seems it did

^ Well obviously Dave I chose to respond to your post so I could poke fun at what you said - or did not say as the case may or may not be..
Ok so cuz one guy won with it then it's the best of the best. Interesting concept. Have fun with that.
What amps did Himmel use - obviously they must be the best there are hands down. I mean, he won with them right?
I find it also interesting that you singled out Coustic. I run Coustic amps They're awesome Thanks for the props, glad to know you hold them in the same high regard I do.

you asked for exaples, i gave you one, its not what you wanted to hear, soory about that
i doint think i ever said that because he won with it was the best, or did i, nope never did
i singled out coustic becasue you singled out alpine, more people win with alpine over coustic, what does that mean, hmmmmm i dunno, i guess coustic isnt at the top of too many peploes list for amplifiers to try to do well with. coustic sure is tight gear, suits you
i use one of the best amplifiers ever made for car audio, you use coustic, so what. thats your choice i guess. see you in the lanes big guy

Way to completely miss the point Dave.
And quit being a gear snob. You so very obviously directly relate quality to cost that it's comedic. I never insulted your choice in gear. In fact, numerous times I have said Alpine is excellent gear but that some of it is merely overpriced in my opinion Hell I run an Alpine head unit myself.
I offer commentary and you insult both me and my gear. Indeed Dave, I will see you in the lanes. Should be an easy win for you eh?
