Question Speaker Advice

I have changed my mind about what i'm putting in my car .I was going to go with 6.5 components up front and 5x7 in the rear for fill. But i am being offered Soundstream 5x7 at real good price.

My question is what are Soundstream speakers like? I know the amps they make are good but i dont see much about the speakers.Any input would be great.
Thanks.

Soundstream of today is far from the Soundsteam of yesteryear. Now owned by the parent company Power Acoustic, many of their offerings are built of dubious quality (of which I have seen, heard and used hands on to make this statement). To be fair, some of their items are good and comparable to other items offered by their competition. What is important is what you think of it and if you are buying the deal or buying the product. Personally, this line will never again be in my store until they drastically improve their quality (and the rep gets canned).

this is the point

if you like it and YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD $ ON IT THEN WHY NOT

if i like it (so ) i'm not paying for it ,i do not need to haer it ,i not using it ,and i do not us your car .also i have not had time to try it in my suv .i,m not saying it is bad but if you do not think you are getting the best deal then you do not need to get it

Well Im a metal Head all the way will little rap in there and Jazz. so the first time i heared Soundstream it was before "Power" ended up getting them and all there Gear was made in the USA anyways my system before this one was the Van Gogh Series all US Made. Sounded Great even the 6x9's (tarantulas) and my 6.5's (tarantulas) 6.5 Comp (VanGoghs)
anyways to get to my point is since Power A bought Soundstream i havent noticed anything different but where its made sticker Instead of saying USA now says China just like everything else in this world!! Sounds all the same same different pile.

agreed! i never liked the audiobahn style anyways, but i don`t feel the same way about soundstream. nevertheless my opinion is valid-less since i`ve never listened to either.
