i found that not many shops around the gta carried a vast selection of soundstream, and the ones that did scared me out of the store due to the price.

but maybe i`m just a cheap bastard!

The problem is some retailers are still playing the "Old Soundstream" card of being one of the best. The gear is still not to bad since PA bought them. Just not as good.

Lot's of the old "Made in the USA" stuff which people like to claim as being far superior had tons of problems. There's a few years in there that the gear was just nasty in terms of reliability.

I see Soundstream has now introduced the v2 Reference line on the market. Speakers in this line don't look too bad and hopefully the series is full of performers.

To that i know of the Reference replaced the SQ Van Gogh line and another thing is since PA took over the Tranatula series amp the price came down soo much the reason i dont know but Im about to find out then i get my amp in. yah. the price was like something retarded like 2gs for a amp from that series and now my 960.4 i ended up getting for 240 i think something in there.

If anyone know the reason being to that i would like to know. besides that sticker... "Made in China"

Cheers
