Speaker placement help asap
Just curious I got a 96 blazer with a kenwood excelon deck 7 series. I have the 2 front cones on the dash then I have a 6.5 sound stream speaker pair in the door along with a bazooka tube 8 inch. I have not installed rear speakers yet but I bought a pair at a car show yesterday. The speakers I bought are kenwood excelon x173's. I think they are better than the ones I installed in the front so my question is. Should I take the fronts and move them to the rears so I have my good speakers in the front or should I just keep the kenwoods in the rear?
Also the wiring in the rear is brown and off white, which is the positive and negative?
Thanks.

IMO put the good stuff in the front. Listen to them both andsee what sounds good. Rear is really just fill. For the wiring, is it possible to check behind the deck to see what's there? At least it sounds like you know that speaker phase is Important.
Run the better speakers up front.
