I am looking for a new deck for a new setup. I am intertested in better sound. What are the most inportant characteristics to look for... good DA converters, high signal to noise, low impedance high voltage outputs. I know those 3 are important what else should i be looking for ?

You may find an RF 8250 on ebay or the forums. It is an excellent sounding deck and should not be that expensive.

 

what do you guys think of the eclipse cd8445

 

It is a great cd player, I have trouble keeping it in stock actually. Great value for the $ as well.

 

Anyone know what the DA's are in the Alpine CDA 9813/9815?

 

Second on that Denon-ford 8250i. That was a great piece for a great price. No toys...... just a great transport.
