The Pioneer p99 or Carrozzerria p01 are the way to go. Pretty much everything else is a compromise.

 

JVCs new 925 specs and options looks good. TA and multi band parametric EQ, separate front and rear xovers, etc.

Those are both excellent units there is no doubt about that, but to say that everything is a compromise just isnt true as there are many top end sq units out there that have been produced over the last 20 years, ie: Mcintosh, Denon, Alpine 7909/F1 status/7998, etc.

 

still using my pioneer dehp7000bt ($500 last year new now discontinued :P) will upgrade to eventually to a navigation system, either pioneer or kenwood, but prob kenwood cause they have 5v preouts on some of their models

i will have the dex-p99 soon...running the eclipse 8443 from like 2004.it has everything,with wonderful sound quality for the money!

 

yea what about alpine 9887cda thats what i am using and its grate for SQ
