Hey. I'm looking for an amazing 12" sub for a sealed enclosure in my truck. I have between 1500 and 2000w rms for it (Mmats D300HC), and I want to use every bit of it. Been leaning towards an RE xxx 12 d4, but im having trouble finding one, so if anyone has something else to suggest or to sell me, lemme know, i'll look it up. Just as long as it'll make my eyes bleed Thanks.

Sounds like dual 2 ohm. I need to see a single 2 ohm load. Im thinking i'll wait to find an re. Im starting to believe that i'll never find anything else that compares. Thanks!!

They make very good subwoofers.

 

ATC make great woofers, so does Vifa, the IDMAX 12 like the other responendent said is very good as well, one of the best sounding woofers I've heard as of late was the Focal 33v1' but not a great woofer in a sealed box

 

Hmmm... So everyone seems to be looking for the 05 xxx. Any particular reason or just cause that was still before US amps bought the company? Apparently I can buy the XXX right from US amps, but they said the price was gonna be like a grand plus shipping. Seems like everyone else gets them from that company for like half that. Wonder why???

Great! Thanks for all the great answers. As I was researching all the awesome new companies you all suggested, I got a call from some guy at RE who said he mis-quoted me. So for a little over 6 bills, that xxx I was dreamong of is looking a lot more like a reality. Hopefully everything works out and I can see what its like to have a real amp and a real sub for once

PS... danyman... says on your sig "need new amp for subs again". The old guy I got my Mmats D300hc from has one more. For 250 bucks, its kinda a no brainer I think. Maybe its a bit old school, but WHO CARES!!! It still outperforms 95% of all amps on the market, imo.

 

On a side note... anyone see a problem with downfiring this sucker? I really only have my center console for space, and thats a bad spot for it to be in any other position...
