SQ system in the works, suggestions?

You might want to buy an IASCA rulebook before you build your car, just to see want the judges will be looking for. Alot of people make the mistake of building a car, then trying to compete with it, and make changes. Just an idea...

Would it make sense for me to just go ahead and sign up for IASCA? I think they send me the rulebook, tuning CD and a magazine subscription, which is pretty cool ?
Good Idea though.. I've redone my system too many times, I want to do it right this time

Audiocontrol is excellent stuff....my friend that I talk alot about, Jason, has a DQT in his Grand Prix...it's an awesome peice, it's a bit confusing but that should change when AC brings out thier dash mounted display screen for the DQT and DQX...it will be much like the Rockford Symmetry, only better.
As for front end...why not get yourself a set of Focal Access? You can get them for under $500 canadian and an un-trained ear would barely know the difference between them and Utopia's. I get great prices on Focal speakers and subs, much less than you'd pay in a shop, I can hook you up if you want.
My 2cents for subs is loose the 10 and get yourself a 12. 12's are, IMO, the most versitile subs....they can get as deep as 15's and stay tight as 10's. If you like the JL stuff...the 12 W3V2 is a very nice sub and it's relatively cheap....Image Dynamics also make very nice subs.
As do Coustic.....I was very suprised when I heard thier top of the line 12...it's got the carbon fiber cone and the surround is stitched to the cone....it was a very sweet sounding sub. It was warm, loud and stayed really controlled....it's only around 300 bucks if I remember correctly too.

I had a couple of the original 10W3's, not the V2's, and they really shined when ported. I did a single 10W3-D4 in a ported box, around 1.4 cubes, tuned around 35hz, and it was very impressive. Might be an option for you, should get louder off of less power, as an added bonus, also!
