Anyone have any experience with a RF HE2 10" sub? The rating say they can take upto 400 watts rms, I was just wondering how one would sound if you gave it this much power?

Basically are they just a SPL sub or would it sound half decent. They are pretty cheap which makes me skeptical.

Any thoughts appreciated.

does that sub have a chrome dustcap? Or is it all blk? If its the 1 with a chrome d.cap it sounds good but not any better. IF its the blk 1, this one sounds better and gets loud. But many better sq subs out there.

Aw man, if its the one with the chrome dust cap, no. I've heard it. YUCK! very monotone bass, bad step response.

Thanks for getting back about it. For that cheap I thought it couldn't be that good.

Cheers eh!

From what you have told me you want I would not recomend that sub. Even for it's price I'm sure you could find something better.

The Punch HE 12s I used to have actually sounded pretty good. I had them in a medium-sized sealed enclosure. I thought they sounded better than my Punch HX2s. But I've never heard the HE2...
