With a 6th Generation Accord coupe (2000). The trunk is divided from the cabin area via 60/40 split rear dropdown seat. Now, if Buddy wants to allow his sub ports to breath into his cabin area from his box (located in the trunk). What's the best way to go about this without having to drive around with the rear seats down all the time?

Buddy gave thought to removing the stock 6x9's and entertained the idea of having the ports enter the cabin via the 6x9 holes near the rear window...but the problem here...the trunk spring arms cross the car directly under the 6x9's / holes preventing the 4" ports access.

Any suggestions here for buddy?

How many people are actually happy with a ported box isolated within their trunk?

thanks in advance
Buddy

I had a 91 Mazda Protege with Two 12" Subs in a ported BOX...After listening to a sealed box in the trunk of a car... I would recomend PORTING it through the 6X9 Holes, you do not know how much bass you lose because of WAVE cancelation inside your trunk with a Sealed box, or ported.

I had my Ports funneled through the 6X9 holes and I hit 139 db SPL with only 400 WATTS RMS!
