yesturday my friend was complaining his subs were cutting out, so we took them out of his box, completely rewired them to 4ohm load, put em back in
he said the problem is still happening, and now im thinking it's his amp?
His subs are SVC 4ohm MTX thunder 4500 12"s in a sealed enclosure, and his amp is an 800w kenwood amp, 2 chnl.
the amp isnt capible of 2ohm load, which he previously had them as 2 ohms (only for a few hours till i told him his amp isnt 2ohm stable).
could he have ruined his amp? its only at a high volume, the subs cut out at any random time
thnx in advance for any help.

2 ohm mono and 4 ohm stereo I presume.
Cause it ain't 4 ohm mono that's not possible.
Provided there are 2 subs....

now im positive it's his ground, i had a ground issue when i hooked up my amp and it wouldnt even turn on, volts went from 14.3 to 4.2 or so, so i fixed it.
