They both play DIVX, price is the same according to each site. The clarion requires an extra module to play video through the ipod where the alpine does not. The alpine has a higher resolution display. And another thing is the alpine is a single din flipout and the clarion is a double din so it would also depend on whats better to install.

 

which specific models are you comparing?. some are hit and miss.

 

already said the clarion model and what I think is the alpine model. What's the difference between single and double din?? it's not going to be installed in a large area, just where my old head unit will be. I'm also leaning more towards the clarion because the alpine requires extra things to use bluetooth.

 

a single din is like an inch and something thick and double din is the fat one thats about 3 and something inches thick. if your car cant take double din then just forget about it
