Question tube amps

who make them?
i see

Butler Audio - TUBE DRIVER BLUE

Vacuum Tube Amplifiers

TUBE DRIVER BLUE produces the best Vacuum Tube audio with a completely open-ended design (ZERO global degenerative negative feedback). Also Tube Driver BLUE eliminates one of the most problematic components that plagues virtually all other vacuum tube amplifier designs: the Output Transformer.

Coupled with novel output load mirroring circuitry, hand-selected dual triode tubes operate in a safe, near plate-saturated mode continuously. Therefore, Tube Drive BLUE creates the ideal electrical environment for classic vacuum tube characteristics.

SPECS

Power @ 4ohms, 14V 2 x 150Watts RMS, Both channels driven (TRUE Power)
1 x 500Watts RMS, Mono (Bridged)
Driver Tubes 6SL7GT x 2 Dual Triodes, Hand Selected
Tube Heaters DC, Fully Regulated, Delayed Soft Start
Output Devices 12 x 15Amps, Sanken (Audiophile grade)
Cooling Massive Internal/External Heat Exchanger with quiet, Temperature-controlled Fan
Heat Exchanger 400% Oversized (Compared to original model 1500)
Frequency Response 5Hz - 100Khz (+/- 1 dB)
Idling Current 2.4 Amps
THD (Distortion) Less than 0.15% (30Khz Bandwidth, Unweighted)
S/N Ratio Better than 110dB (A-weighted)
Negative Feedback ZERO, no global negative degenerative F/B loop (Open-Ended Design)
Tonality Musical, Warm & Dynamic (Rivals 'All Tube', home audiophile amps)

^ The Tube Driver Blue is a "hybrid amp"........ not true tube outputs.

The Milbert reviews above (Soundslike Mag) was actually done with the David Berning design ones not their new BAM-235ab with all the new changes.

Other High-end Vacuum Tube Amps...

- TRU C-7.2AT all tube amp. @13 watts/channel with EL-84

- HSS Class A tube amp @30 watts /channel with KT-88 for the outputs..... very sweet!

TRU is no longer in Canada. You'll have to go to the USA for them.

Why do you want a tube amp BTW?

^ That's where I listened to the TRU Hybrid & the To3 amplifiers. It was one of the best sounding set up on a display/demo so far in the lower mainland.......
