if you don't have a general idea of what they cost, I'd suggest going to audition one, or a few to make sure it's a worthy investment... is there a reason for the tube amp, or is it a bling thing?

so that you know....... there are no true vacuum tubes amplifier that puts out 2x200w or 300w for cars. only hybrid ones like from Butler Audio TDB-2150 (2x150w) and few others out there.

u want a 200x2 or 300x2 tube amp? that is some preaty rich taste! don't get me wrong it is great gear but for what u will notice man.....any true tube amps with the tubes on the rails on average have realy low power ratings. 50x2 is impressive with these. something that only uses tubes in the preamp faze kinda defeats the purpose don't u think? IMO.

I would still like to know what you are trying to achieve with a tube amp... is it a certain sound you are looking for? or is it because it's just cool to have one?
