Tunning

I'm about to run my Hertz MLK165 active off an Audison LRX 5.1k with IDQ12 v.3, and I'm wondering when I'm all done setting it up if there are any places in the durham region, or GTA that I could take my car to get professionally tunned?

If you want to use the car in IASCA then fine a shop that build SQ cars. But be warned that this can cost you lots of cash! It will all depend on how serious you are about the sound in your car.

My suggestion would be to enter in an IASCA show and have a judge listen to you car. You may only need a few small adjustmenst to make your car sound just right for you.

If you don't want to compete. Come to a show any way. I will tune it for you. No problem!

I'm not into competing, just want the best possible SQ out of my system really.

And I'd love to come to a show, that'd be great.

Where can I find out information about when they're held?

Thanks

I have to ask, what does a pro know that you cant learn? I mean you know what a violin / piano/ guitar sounds like, why not do it yourself (and in the process you will learn how to control your stereo better. I mean the stereo has to make one person happy and that is you! His/ her tuning might not be to your liking

That's kind of what I'm leading to. When I help people set up their cars, I usually ask them what do THEY feel sounds good. Many time they dont know though! So as we set up the car I will give them A/B comparisons. What do you like better, this or that? This will give the person some info on what to do and how to do it. It also make it a little more fun.

You can find out about show on the forum. Start to look for show in early spring.
