I brought my Clarion 9255 to Audiowaves(I've been helping them do renovations for 2 months now) because they had no deck for the Focal demo board. I got it all hooked up, it turned on fine except for my remote turn-on wire which I knew was broken already. Anywho...I put in a cd and it would not play...upon closer inspection I saw a round shiney(sp?) thing poking out that kinda looked like a cd.....so out came the deck and to the work table I went ....sure enough, the cd wasn't loading all the way into the deck.

Now, I have one very important question for you....HTF do I fix it? I don't want to break anything so I WAS going to take it to a shop and have them look at it, but I don't wanna spend a fortune for repairs either, so I'll do it myself, But what could be the problem? Can somebody help me trouble shoot?

oh, ok...well, I took it to Ultimate Car Audio here in Oshawa just to get an idea of what it would cost to get it fixed....becausethey deal specifically with Clarion/Pioneer/Fusion...they wanted to send it out to Clarion to get it fixed...it was gonna be around 100 bucks plus parts and labour. I just about fell over....so yea, I'll get that deck out to you instead Mark, and let you guys handle it.

Send me an email later and we'll talk.
