I had my stereo get a little quieter like that sometimes and I realized it happens when only one of the rca cable intermitantly disconnects. So if it just gets the left or right channel its about a 3db drop in volume.

I have pretty decent RCA's.....the best that Scosche makes in fact.

No, it's a battery problem, but unfortunatly, this problem isn't going to go away if I can't get that other battery to charge up, cus I can't really afford a new battery, and won't be able to for a little while.

It's a real shame too because my system was actually sounding pretty good up till now....staged good, sucked *** tonnally....but MAJOR bass from my CVR12.

hate to bump in on ur topic like this but my system is kinda givin me sorta same problem ... i will lose alot of the bass everyonce in a while and sometimes it will even cut out when i turn it up to much... the guy i bought the amp off of said the rca plugs were loose inside on the amp and the car was already wired up when i bought it so i didnt change the rca's and they are cheap ones.... could this be causing my amp to go into protection every once in a while.... it will go into protection , turn it down and then it wont have as much bass.... i also have the amp bolted to the back of the box so the vibration could be doing it.

sorry brandon again for postin this in your topic, hope u get your problem cased without a whole lot of swearing haha

IMO it's THE most dynamic sub in it's price range.

I love it...but I was thinkin about buying Jacob's DLS SQL sub......it's like 97DB efficient, not sure if I'd like it or not though, I STILL haven't heard DLS subs or amps.

Jason's sub sounds awesome!
so does Kriston's 15".
can't go wrong with them.... especially with the minimal power you need to run them... so easy on the electrical system.
