wierd sound dd9515

hi, im a proud owner of a dd9515 but i want to know if its normal that when i crank it at full volume we heard the motor of the sub,its powered by a autotek 1500 who is ont a 80 amp alt lol(yeah i know)when the bass is punchy we can really heard the motor but with the track like can you hear me(low frequency)its less occurent, thx for the reply this board rulzzzzz!

Amp clipping maybe? Has it done it before when pushed hard?

yeah im pretty sure tahts the amp clip(now she need to be repaired lol got a pb) and when the volume is moderate(1/2)the sound is totaly perfect lol but i know that its a sql sub so i just wanted to know if its because my amp clip(my ****** alt) or if the sub got a prob, thx for the reply!chowy

Well, loud volume burps and bass notes likely won't sound as clean...which doesn't matter because you're doing an SPL burp.

It just sounds like you may either be stressing the sub, or just clipping the amp.

And please make some effort with your sentence structure and be a bit more sparing with the "lol" use. [img]smile.gif[/img]

sql sub...that's a good one. Did I just post in the sq section? *gives head a shake*

That sub will take ALOT daily, something's w5rong.

yeah i know for my english its not the easiest thing to write when your not fammiliar hehe i will do my best but for my problem its a big possibility that the amp is clipping.The sub is stressed?what you mean by this?For finish i put this subject in the sq directory because i think its a sound quality problemnot spl maybe i am wrong here? sry eh [img]graemlins/@bow.gif[/img]
