Look, I'll cut straight to the point.
The least expensive pair is just over $20,000 US.
I've heard a few models, and they are very good. My only issue is with the top end, Dave Wilson tunes his tweeters to be a little too honest for my ears.
Anyone still interested?

Pinhead I hope you don't pay attention to ridiculous rumors like the one you mentioned.
And the speakers you mention are called among other names "Acoustic Audio" .

the X2 isn't a prototype... if you're refering to the Alexandria. Both Brack's and Audio Excellence sells them here. Love the Grand Slams. Had a chance to listen to them at Audio Ex with Krell gear. Simply amazing.
