07 honda fit amp install help

got my new car,,honda fit(yahoo???),,,,anyways if i cant afford to go fast,,i can go loud,,,but i want to keep the factory radio,,,can i hook up an amp WITHOUT using a line out converter????the sound quality tthat comes out of those things are just plain crap!!!----ive noticed that the factory deck has buttons to contraol a cd changer--therefore the back of the deck must have some sorta connector for this,,any adaptors out there that have rca connections on the ends???cmon honda guys help me out!

Get an audio control piece they have come a long way or use an amp with a Highlevel input and tap your speaker wires.

The problem with that is that the plug for the cd-changer is an in, not an out. You will likely need to go with a LOC, or a new deck...Has the metra adaptor come out yet?

The rear of the 07 FIT's radio has an output harness connector which is designed for use with the honda ILinc ipod adapter. I dont know if there is an aftermarket adapter made to use that jack yet though.

But the more I think about it the more I would say that you have to use a LOC. That adapter only alows you to connect aux inputs to your factory radio for playing through the factory system.

The LOC's from David Navone are very good. You can also get a Rockford 360 if you don't mind spending the $$$.

The audiocontrol piece failed in my Honda Fit! Incompatible voltages!
