1994 Buick Regal - Help With Deck Install
Yo, i just bought a 1994 Buick Regal, and i removed the dash panelling to get at the stock OEM radio, and the cassette player. I managed to remove both, but i cant find the car's harness. I have a JVC KD-G800 deck, and i have a wiring harness from my old car (1993 Pontiac Grand Am) because GM used the same harnesses for ever car, so it should work, right?
If someone could please reply to this, or email me at steve_ohh@hotmail.com, that would be HIGHLY appreciated - i really want some decent help so i can do it myself, rather than take it into the shop and pay for it. Thanks in advance - peace.

O man this is easy and hell im even in Port Hope, does your dash look like this.
If so the radio harness are attena plug is here,Remove the plus from under the passenger dash are you will see a silver box with a harness and a atena going into in it.Thats all the wires you need right there.
some people take the hold lineing of the glove-box out to get to it but just get on your back after takeing that plastic shield off,7mm bolts and they are there

yeah man, my dash definently looks like that. if you're in port hope, then damn buddy, come down to my place. i live in Omemee (if you havent heard of it, its between Peterborough and Lindsay). Good to know someone knows about Regals, even though they're "Granny Cars". Im gonna go outside right now and see if i can find what you're talking about. Thanks alot though man - appreciated. Do you have MSN Messenger, if so, add me at steve_ohh@hotmail.com so i can talk to you easier than signing into CCA.com. Once again, thanks alot man, appreciated greatly. Peace.

Another thing, i dont mean to be rude or anything, but incase this doesnt work for me, could you please re-state what you told me to do, but make sure all of your spelling and grammar is correct? sorry, but its hard to read and understand what you wrote. But im still gonna go attempt it. All i have to do is plug the cars harness into the after-market harness that i bought, right? I hope so thanks again - peace.

Well i wasn't much of a good speller myself
1,remove the black plastic cover under the glove box(7mm bolts)
2,locate silver box
3,unplug harness and atanna adapter
4,also remove the factory tap player as that is where your new HU has to go

You want to go buy a dash kit for this car like the Metra 99-2020. In the kit will be instructions - these ones: http://metraonline.com/files/products/INST99-2020.pdf
