I have the basic stereo working.
I am having trouble locating 4 connections.

reverse

speed signal

parking break lead

illumination

I would rather not rip apart the dash for the speed signal if possible.

*DKP = Drivers Kick Panel
**PCM = Powertrain Control Module

I'm having trouble identifying the drivers kick panel.
For the PCM is there an existing hole to put the wire through.

 

Please help a total newbie.

Well I found the dark green/white for the vss.
It was in a bunch of wires going from the dash through the firewall to the PCM
Still I get no speed indication on my system.
Hopefully this is because I don't have the parking break and reverse hooked up.
Under the DKP there are 2 connectors with many of the same colored wires.

I would guess parking break lead
and reverse would be one of these.

I'm so close.

 

What site did you get that info from,or was it out of your book LOL
