Hey, I am adding on an amp and sub to my friends 2004 Toyota Tundra. Ran all my wiring today, power from battery, ground etc. Because he is not changing out the factory deck I tapped off of the ignition wire for the Remote turn on for the amp. I tapped off of the LF and RF speaker wires to get signal for the LOC (Scosche LOC-4). Amplified system, so I tapped the wires before the amp, and set the LOC to the Factory Amp setting. Turned the key, I heard the deck making some noises (in dash changer), and then nothing. Hit the power button, did not fire up. Broke out the test gear, I am getting constant 12 volts, but nothing on the ignition wire. I checked every fuse under the hood, and under the dash, nothing..... does this vehicle have a Security feature I am not aware of? Please help if you can, otherwise I will have to go to Toyota tomorrow. Thanks!
