2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. Cab?

I am just looking for any ideas from anyone who has or seen some setups in this vehicle. I am currently taking my system out of my '79 lincoln since i am selling the car. I have a Pioneer 6900 head unit, Zappco AG750 that i was running my front with, a Rockford BD1000 running a BA 18" in the trunk(the 18 will not be going in the truck). I know there are pre fab boxes for this truck that will hold a pair of 10's under the seats. I am wondering if there are any other options without giving up the rear seats. Also suggestions on a component set to go along with it.

Anything is possible with the enough money. How much are you looking to spend?

I have a great deal on the high end Eclipse 6x9" component speakers that are a perfect match for this truck. I am the only dealer in Canada that can offer you these speakers at the price I have them listed for here on the site. They would be a nice drop in fit for your truck and a great match to the amplifier that you have right now. Here is a link to them.

ECLIPSE Component Series Speaker SC6900 | Fujitsu Ten

For the subs, the MTX thunderform enclusure is really surprising. It is not going to deliver out of this world bass response though. You are limited to a couple of things. The available mounting room for subs under the seat and the rather limited air volume under the seat. If this is your only option, it is a solid performer. Your existing Rockford amp would not be the ideal choice for it. A unloaded prefab box would allow you to use your existing amp but finding a sub(s) that work for the power you have available and the space limitations both physical and for the box volume is going to be tough. Would you be prepared to give up space and have a box built for the application?

You could do a cut-through and still use your 18!

Ever since the financial crash, vehicles are worth...less! Besides, it can always be returned to factory, just keep the parts that you remove.

box under the seats in that truck will leave you pretty dissapointed since there's a very imited amount of airspace.. amps under the seats works well and make an enclosure behind the center console... anything else really and you might as well cut-through or lose a back seat

well that's what i was wondering. i figured 2 10's under the seats wouldn't be up to what i was thinking. i have no problem losing the center rear seat and dropping in a 12 in the space between. i love the idea of a cut through or losing the rear seats and keeping my 18 but i picked up the ext. cab so i could have passengers... heh. is there any 12" you could recommended for the small air space and good power handling? as for the front end. i am looking for a mid range 6.5" 2-way component set (I believe the 2005 model has a 6 3/4" factory) or i am going to cruise the site for a wee bit and see if anything comes up... i am no real hurry to finish over night. is there anyone that has listened to any type of setup in this vehicle? if so what are your thoughts? thank you very much for all the input.

I have completed lots of these vehicles. Working on one right now for that matter. Here is a link to some of the incredible closeout deals on Eclipse right now. If none of these interest you, I most certainly have far more options for you to consider as well.
