Just wondering if anyone has worked on a 2009 Ford F150 Platinum Edition truck. I have a friend who wants to add an amp to the stock setup. It's a full Sony "Stock" setup with double din nav, sub, amp, and plastic box made for the truck. He wants to add in a 1500w amp with 2 Kicker 10" Truck Subs, and remove the stock sub and amp. Will a regular line in converter work? He said he's asked around and it can't be done without changing up the headunit.
