Hi
I want to remove the oem subwoofer speaker grill from right side of the trunk to access the subwoofer.
My initial accessment is no need to take off the entire right trunk lining which will be a big job.
I pry up a small slit but afraid to break anything holding the grill plate. Does anyone has info or SERVICE MANUAL covering how to remove this part, such as point of entry of removal tool, what is the structure behind the grill plate, what holds the grill plate, clips or tabs?
Then I can take out the oem speaker wires to input a powered sub-tube, discarding the oem subwoofer.
Don't want to break anything in a new car.
Any input/advice will be highly appreciated.
