I have purchased a 2012 charger and want to get the audio system upgraded , there is only one shop in my city that does this and the man insists that a sub, amp and speakers wont make my system sound better unless i spend 800$ on a chip (i have the stock uconnect touchscreen) of which he says will render the rest of the system useless as it has factory settings that restrict the volume (he also said hes never worked on a charger) , i just wanted some feedback , all im looking for is for the car to sound 50% better then it currently does , go a little louder and have a good bump for the bass , thanks for the help.
