Good morning,

I am doing somewhat of a budget install for my son's vehicle and could use some advice..

I have a Kenwood KDC-BT652U Head Unit
CrunchUSA Ground Pounder 1800.4 4 Channel AMP
Kicker CVR10 Sub
This in an older jeep. Two speakers in front doors and two angled roof mounted in the rear. I bought new Polk's all the way around to replace them and some better wire.

So my question is what is best way to take advantage of only 2 RCA Line ins on the AMP when the Head Unit has 3 sets out (Front, Rear, Subwoofer) . I would like to AMP everything if possible. I plan on using the AMP in 3 channel mode (Front, Rear, and bridged sub)

I am thinking just using the front RCA for signal to the the 4 door speakers and the subwoofer out for the sub. I guess I am going to give up being able to fade?

Looking for what options I have here mainly.

That ^^ or just use the front rca for the 2 front speakers, (forget the rears), and sub rca for the sub.

 

Keep the rear speakers off of deck power and amplify the fronts and sub. Amplifying the rear speakers especially where they are located would make the system biased to the rear and would not sound as good.

 

Good point keeping the rear on hu power.
