Replacing the Bose OEM setup in my 2002 Audi TT and am looking for suggestions to replace the front/rear speakers. Both front and rear are 6.5" with a set of 1" tweeters in the front as well. Need opinions on 2-way, 3-way etc, plus brand/model suggestions. Would like to go 2 ohm but not sure. There will likely be one 10" or 12" sub, maybe JL Audio or Alpine. That is also up for debate on another thread.

Decided to go with CDT HD 62 components for the fronts and CL 61 CV's for the rears.

 

Doubt you'll regret that decision...

No mention of an amplifier to power these bad boys.....

you WILL be using one right?

 

Let me know what u think about the CDTs. I've been looking at their stuff and its nice lookin. I got some CDT CF sub/midbass 6x9s to go in the front of my car with a sqa-2130 for power. Hoping to end up with a nice kick up front. Currently running Massive CK-6 components off it and sounds great. We'll see what it's like with some more punch soon.

 

HAHA, yeah would really love to get a JL Audio HD900/5 but am probably getting a JL 300/4 and a 500/1 for the subs.

 

I'll report back once I get everything installed. Still got to buy the amps then find a day to rip my car apart for the install.
