I have 6 speakers in my car, 2 up on top of dash, 2 in the doors, and two on the rear deck facing window. How would my speakers be wired up ?.. I'm guessing the 2 front ones are spliced together with the two front dash ones ?

Could someone clarify this for me lol.. thanks. I'm trying to figure some wiring stuff up, Since i'm only familiar with 4 speaker car system wiring ! lol

what yr ?
what are you doing to the speaker?
are you adding an amp ?
stock set up ?

It's a stock setup, and i was wondering how they were setup, and how the speaker impedance distribution would go about.

Back are 6x9" (with paper tops ) They have really good subs though, suprisingly(and thats only with the radio) I'm hoping that when i get my new 680mp they'll be ever crisper , if not louder !

and the way the back is set up , is that it has 4 wires going to each speaker in the back, but only 2 wires leaving the h/u for the back spkrs. Explain plz lol.. Thanks

 

when you get an amp get speakers and run new wire
the stock has an amp somewhere and i would gess the speakers are sh!#

 

Sounds like a Bose system...

If so - rip it ALL out and start fresh. It is not worth trying to replace just the deck or just the speakers..

my bmw had a stoct set up like a bose the highs at 6oms the mids 8oms i think something like 8-10speakers
