8 guage or 4 guage kit; plz help!

Ok...The birth certificate on my alpine mrd-m605 is 666watts @ 14.4v. I've hooking it up to a type r sub(500wattsrms, 1000peak).
I picked up an 8 guage stinger wiring kit and a few things confuse me. It uses a 60amp AGU fuse and on www.bcae1.com #13 it says the max fuse for 8 guage wire is 50 amps.
Another probelm I ran into is this:
WARNING! There's less than 300 circular mils per amp. Use a larger gauge wire. See note below. I've actually got 275 circular mills per amp when I crunched the numbers.
All this being said, in the mrd-m605's owners manual it suggests 8 guage or bigger.
So...Is the fuse ok? and is the wire ok..

I would go the biggest you can afford to go. having 8 awg would be the bare minumum in my eyes. 4 would be better, and 0 awg would be best.
Power / ground wire chart check that out, and use as a reference...
if you stick with the 8 awg, and decide to add more power to your system, then you will be ripping it out, to install a larger guage wire to power the new additions, why not go big now, and save yourself the hassel, and wasted money on smaller kits that will be useless as you upgrade?
if you can't afford a 4 awg kit, or 0 awg kit, then I guess the 8 will have to do, but I would go bigger...
