98 Ford Ranger - best place to thread power through firewall?

Can anyone give me some advice on the best place to run power wire past the firewall of a 98 Ford Ranger? If drilling a whole somewhere is best that's fine just let me know.

Thanks.

Lightbulb

Rangers/Exploders suck for that. IIRC the last couple I did I went through the passenger floor in the 'kickup' area between the floor and firewall.

fords are by far the easiest to run wire with b/c they always have grommets usually more than one. Just find one that is relatively already close to the kick panel so u don't go crushing wire under a bunch of carpet.
