Ac matrix ground problem

After ripping apart the amp rack (that I spent too much on ) mostly due to lack of easy access to both ends of the sub amps.

Well the rewire gave us alternator whine, we tracked the source down to the Linedriver ( AC matrix) . We switched up the current grounds at the blocks, that did not fix the problem.

We have 2 ground points, one up front at the stock battery ground and in the back at the chassis/2nd battery. The rear ground was checked with a dmm, < .5 volts total resistence.

Should we add another ground point just for the Linedriver or try to find another rear ground all together.

I must be overlooking something, Other hints?

Does this unit have a ground isolation selector switch inside the unit?

Well I checked the manual online since I don't have it on paper, and yes it does.
I didn't have a clue Thanks for so efficiently answering my question!! lol
200 ohm resistence, total isolation and total lack of isolation.
I suppose I need to just a diagram that'll help me switch it to well, whatever one works

wow, none of the 3 settings made a difference
We checked the grounds, front and back again, exactly the same, 12.85 Mv.
I assumed under 100 Mv is "ok" or is 12.85 still too high?

Didn't have time to run a new dedicated ground straight to the chassis from the LD , but we'll try that next and change the jumpers again also if need be.

Great try Blu, thanks . REALLY thought you had it there, .
