So I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with a single disc DVD and single disc system with a single tv screen. When I bought the van, the salesman said he could have headphones put on through visions for $300 so the kids could listen to movies while I listened to music. Only thing I found in looking around was to replace my dvd player with a six disc dvd player system for between 3-600dollars.

Is there something I can add to the factory system to do this?

 

A lot of the headhphones run off of IR. Alpines SHS-N103 headphones will work with a lot of the factory ones. I've done a lot of fords this way. However I dont know if this is the same with Dodge.

 

I just did some googling. Looks like they are IR so the Alpines will likely work.

They should be no more than $50/pair

 

Thanks for the info. If I got the headphones, would the unit allow me to play radio/cd through the speakers while the kids listen to a movie?
