Alpine Deck?

i have a alpine 7873 and i just bought a 9815 can i just dis-connect my deck and replace it with my new one, or do i have to comleatly rewire the new deck. I hope i dont have to.

check the connector, if all your wire colors are in the same location, and it's the same BLACK connector, then yes. If it's the clear connector on your old deck, then you have to swap the wires. The higher end decks have a larger current draw, so the connectors are slightly different. hope this helps

I think the old ones are 12 pin and new ones are 16. Just check the color of the connector. If its the same it should be just plug and play.
