I am almost done my alarm's install and, lo and behold, I notice that I have an extra wire. I wanted to use EVERY wire the alarm had but I can't figure out what this one does.

Brown/Red ... it's not marked on my installation sheet, my wiring sheet or anything else I have with respect to my alarm!!! Any help? If it helps, my alarm is an Alpine SEC-8063.

 

6 pin wire ... it's funny, all the literature goes something like this:
Pin 1: blah
Pin 2: Blah
Pin 4: Blah
Pin 5: blah
Pin 6: blah

Never noticed before but that stupid wire is ignored.
