I love how the store tells u the amp kit'll include instructions on how to hook it up!! But I love it even more when u get home open it and you have absolutely nothing! lol. Does anybody know a good site preferably with picture display that'll have step by step instructions of how to install my amp & sub? I've already mounted my amp in a spot in my trunk so next is just hook up, and drilling the inside for the firewall etc. Hopefully installing on Thursday, peace!

K then I think my RCA cable is to short.

And also is it normal to buy an amp kit and it not include wiring to wire the sub to the amp??

I have 9ft of RCA cable.

I have a 88 Z24 cav, I have mounted an amp in it, it's quite simple actually. Have you already ran the wires? and amp kits don't give you sub wire, and your best bet would be to go with the 12' of RCA.

It's probably a bass boost, I would adjust it later, I've found that most bass boosts make the bass sound a bit muddy. Set up your system, then play with the boost if you like.
