Wuts good pplz?!? I have a question about installing my Tsunami 40 farad cap. Im used to caps that have the standard + and - terminals, and have them connected in parallel with the batteries. But with this cap, its liek an amp, it has + input, + output, - input and - output. Now the problem i have is that the + output is (3) 4 gauge connections, but im running 2 orion xtr pro 2400s that have the dual 4 gauge wire connections, so i dont want to have to shread a bit of copper to squeeze the wire into the terminals on the cap. Any ideas? Would it matter if i hooked up the cap the standard way? Shouldnt it deliver voltage to the system throught the + input to the battery like a regular cap? What the deal with theses caps?

 

Just run the outputs to distribution blocks to give you whatever you need for extra terminals to go to your amps. This cap wires up just as it appears that it would, with power in (O/1 gauge) and 3 - 4gauge power outputs.
