For 35 sq ft, don't think you'll be seeing anything under $75 CAN. You're over $100 I think easily at best for decent material. Maybe try pouring a concrete mat !!!

check out second skin. they seem pretty reasonably priced. 20 sq ft for 60 and 50 sq ft for 140 isn't bad at all www.secondskinaudio.com/secondskin.html i think

Secondskin............ I think is USA based. Therefore those prices are in US bucks. Then add shipping and blah blah blah at the border.

the secondskin is US based, but there is a distributor here in wpg. he is thinking around 160-170 for a roll, which is only 20 bux more than that US pricing. i personally bought some.

As DWVW said, V & L Comp is very different from those mat dampeners and sprays..

Products like dynamat, brown bread, extreme, the sprays (And any of the home hardware stuff) are sound dampeners. They help to stop vibrations etc..

V & L comp are BARRIERS, and sound absorbers (spelling?). They help reduce outside noise. etc. They are up to a 1/2" thick and are made up of a number of different materials/layers.

If you seriously want something cheap that doesnt need to stick like putting it on the floor of your car, go to home depot into the flooring section and they sell these 24" tall rolls of green material that is to lay under hardwood flooring... there are 2 kinds, one is white and the other is green and it is made for sound dampening when you are putting hard wood on the upper floor in your house... It thin, about 1.5mm and it works pretty good for the price... My buddy put this stuff on the floor of his honda and it reduced his road noise ALOT... Its probably nowhere near as good as Dynamat or the b-quiet stuff but if you are looking for something decent for a good price, that you DONT need to stick on then give it a shot... I think he paid 35$ for a 24" x 50 foot roll and again it worked pretty damn good.
