I have an Audi TT coupe 2002 with the Bose premium sound "concert". I had in my old car a kicker amp and 2 10in kicker subs. I would like to bring those over becasue the bose sucks when it come to base, I want to be thumping. I really haven't found much in the way of info on installing an aftermarket amp and subs on an existing bose system. I heard that I would my amp up to the existing amp, or that there might be RCA jacks ont he back of the deck. Can anyone give me some help or advice.
THanks much

Was going to be doing this to a customers car and I researched it all out and now can't find that info. Have you checked on any of the Audi TT forums about this??? Definitely check out audiworld.com as I bet dollars to doughnuts you'll find what you need there for sure.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm doughnuts !!

audi like vw radio's have pre outs on the deck
if you look at the pin out paper stuck to the radio it will show you which preouts are which
it uses the top connector for the pre outs
piggy tail your wires on and away you go

Installing an after market in an Audi TT is expensive and painfull. Trust me I have done it. I had the same factory head unit as you and it does NOT have RCA outs. Theres no way you could hardwire that thing either. Your better off just getting a better, newer head unit. How it works is you can get a harnesss to attach the new head unit to the power supply of the factory harness. Its a little more complicated then that though, if you want details just ask and I'll supply them. So basically what all this means is if you want a new stereo you cant cheap out and just get a new head unit or just a amp. You have to get both unless your ok with the crappy amps in most head units. The hardest thing I have done is getting threw the firewall for the amp. Its a bitch dude. Its almost worth it to take to a local shop. But if you have anymore questions just message me.
