bass hits, lights dim :( time for big3?

I noticed that my lights dim when bass hits, people tell me to get a capacitor but i now it wont solve the problem. I want to do the big3 upgrade and see if that works first. where in Burnaby BC can I get 0 gauge wires?

Before you can make the call either way it would be nice to know the systems power demands... so what junk is in your trunk?

I can send you over chunks of 0 gauge, ring terminals and the fuse / fuse holder you will need. I will even solder the ring terminals on for you. Shipping is cheap as you are so close.

jbl gto7001
Alpine type R 15'
stock deck (hooked up with a RCA)

from what i know its 700watts and from some calculations that i found online, its:
700watts/0.7 = 1000watt
1000watt / 13V = 77
and my civic is running 30-40 so im like 37+- above the limit.

and big3 supposed to reduce it a lot.
i need to know where in Burnaby I can get it?

The closest shop to you would be Soundworks at Willingdon & Dawson. If they can't help you out, I might have what you're looking for in Coquitlam.

With that load, 4awg for the big three is more than enough (as long it's real copper)

One more thing, does the light dim car off? if it still does try some booster cable from the neg of the batt to the body and then if it still dim the big three will not solve your problem.
