Battery in trunk setup.

Hey guys, have another question. I have a 99 TDI, and it's now going to be my main car (had a 99 tiburon). I have 2 15" kicker cvr's (2006 model, sealed fibreglass), a kenwood KAC9152D, and a rockford fosgate 2 channel (This might get upgraded). I really want to install a battery for the entire system to run off in the rear. I recently installed a brand new alternater and battery straight from VW and I would like them to last at least a few years (or at least the alt). I haven't done a incredibe amount of research on the subject so I'm hoping you guys can help shed a little bit of light on the matter.

I know you want to run a deep cycle battery in the back, like a yellow top or purple haze. What type of battery should I be looking for stats wise? I know CCA doesn't apply anymore. Also, how should I go about wiring this? I've seen in some setups where the ground wire isn't grounded at the back to the chassis, rather another line runs back up to the front battery and grounded to it. I would assume I want to fuse the the power line between the main battery and secondary battery, what size fuse should I be looking for? Do I want to fuse the amps after the secondary battery individually or can I use one of those gold plated splitter boxes for that (Each line is fused inside splitter)? What size wire should I be running for this? 2 guage 0 guage? Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
