Best way to wire dual amp/caps
Best way to wire dual amp/caps
Im currently getting ready to swap all my stereo stuff from dead car to current one. I was wondering what would be best way to wire the amps. i was considering running 2 seperate power lines from battery...to each side of the car as im plannin on doing a custom set up with an amp on each side. is it wise to run a seperate power for each amp? or should i run 1 power to a dist. block and power amps off that? i currently have one line running to cap and the 2 amps power running from the cap....but when installing in new ride want it to be nice and clean. lemme know what u think.
are both amps being used for subwoofers?
if the one amp is being used for you highs the the cap is not going to do much for that amp. i would run a single 0/1 ga power down the other side from the rca so that you dont run in to noise issues. i say 0/1 that way you have the room to gett bigger amps down the road.

wont the cap still help with current? im running all my rockford power speakers doors and rear along with 4 tweeters off it...it wont help at all? waste of money? i already have one that is hooked up to subs. my amps...i wont be upgrading them any time soon....just planning on using 4 AWG wire for whole system...unless i use dist. block then ill prob use the 0/1...i havent purchased the seond cap yet...there VERY hard to find the matching one to my system...i like to match...looks cleaner...but if its a waste then ill keep my money
