best way to wire subs

hey guys ive just bought two alpine SWR 1242d subs and a alpine pdx 1.1000W amp was just wondering the best way to wire the subs for best performance

You can wire each subwoofer's voice coils in parallel (that is subwoofer one becomes 2 ohms and subwoofer two becomes 2 ohms) and then wire them together in series to present a 4 ohm load to your amp.

Especially seeing as the PDX amp will output the same power at 2 or 4 ohms.
