Big 3
If you have any wiring left over from your amp install, use that. I have a 2awg kit that I will be running, so I took a 1' length for my engine-chassis connection and a .5' from battery to chassis. After I install my new amp kit, I'll use the rest for the alternator-battery section, if I have enough.
Just remember to remove all the paint from the chassis mount points. Also use a fuse between your alternator and your battery, you don't want your battery blowing up!

a question along this line is what if the stock battry/chasis is 8awg would 4awg replacement be worth while doing? (i have no 2awg left from my power wire) and if that's not enough would two runs of the 4awg be better than one?
