second battery

second battery

so i plan on putting another battery in the trunk what i want to know is do i run my power wires from the one under the hood or the one in the truck to power the amps and i will also bee running 3 caps more for show so don't go crazy on me and say i don't need them lol

what are you running ?
i would run the anp off the one that closest to the amp .
but there is more to this i know
if you say i have 10amp running 20 subs i will say something like power wire off the 2 battery with 2 or more runs of 0 g wire .............

i will have 3 amps one 1500 wrms clarion amp and 2 400 wrms clarion amps

how are you doing your -neg- ?'
form 2nd battery run 0g for 18" fuse then to a block 0 into 4x4g out fuse 18 or less then to cap fuse with in 18" to amp
your block may have fuses in it like what i use

Always run the amps on the battery(s) closest to it. The closer the better, as with the bigger wire gauge the better.
