Bose Audio Help

hey guys,im trying to toss in my amp and subs in my bose audio equiped pathfinder..now for a while i wanted to replace the deck with my alpine
but was told those PAC adapters have terrible sound quality so i stayed out
now i am down to 2 options:

1-Building an amp bypass harness, from what i read on NICO its basicly
soldering the in out terminals of the oem bose amps together..however there is
no diagram for a pathfinder amplifier therefore i dont know what to follow.

2-I would go as low as using an inline converter simply to have the rca jacks
i'm wondering if anyone knows how to install it to the existing deck harness

btw im predicting its gonna sound like crap...once those subs are in they will overpower the stock mids

thanks

Any good installer can find the in and out wires in a jiffy. Like I say. if you need a diagra to find the speaker wires on a plug, you shouldn't be doing the work yourself. There's some safety issues in working with any wiring in a vehicle if you don't have a basic background in electrical theory take it to the pros.

You're right, it will sound like crap unless you REPLACE the Bose system entirely.
The Bose speakers are designed to be matched with the Bose EQ system within the amplifier.

Exactly - I have never adapted a Bose system where it sounded decent in the end. Replace it all or leave it alone.

Wear rubber gloves when handling Bose and place in garbage can immediately. Secure lid on garbage can so the Bose crap does not make a break for it.

change it all!
get the pac or another adapter to retain chimes.. safety first!
you can hook up a speaker to the adapter just to hear the chimes.
