Neeed Help Please....stupid Factory Bose....please Help

Hey Guys,

Im trying to install an Avic N3, in my 02 escalade.
For Harness it says i need the simple harness.
There is NO chime from the speaker, but there is BOSE and On-star.

We've installed everything and deck powers up, but NO sound coming from speakers....

PLEASE o PLEASE help me... i want to hear some MUSIC by the weekend.

Did you bypass the factory amps?
That right there could be a big part of your problem.
Also if you have OnStar there is a special Harness needed to keep it
Its a Metra GMOS-01 I believe.

Check metraonline.com to verify!

I think the escalade is more complicated than that if it has onstar and Bose.
AND it's a different adaptor if you're trying to keep the bose amp/speakers or replacing all with aftermarket amps/speakers.

My Soundgate interface works just fine. Onstar, chimes, turn signal clicker and Retained power work, but not thru the factory stereo.
I recomend calling them, explaining what you got and what you want to do, buying the right adaptor and getting it professionally installed.

Did you hook up the remote turn on blue with from deck harness to install harness, alot of people forget to do that and then no sound as the factory amp doesnt turn on.

Hope this helps
