ok, im just getting into this audio buisness, and i have been pretty much just listening to a couple freinds about everything, because they seem to know what there talking about...right know im running a 15" sony explode in a 5.6ft3 box(internal airspace) with 2 slot ports, 18.5"x2.25"...i was just wondering if having a box this big will ruin the sub at all, it seems to be runnign ok, but i was just curious if it will last a few more months(have been using it about a month know) or if i should be expecting it to kack any time soon or if thats even a problem...also i may be underpowering the sub a little...the amp claims to be 200rms and the rms of the sub is 250...is that ok.....
and just one more thing, has anyone here tried the legacy 3000watt mono blocks, looking into getting one because there cheep and all the amps around here with any kind of power are like $1000+.......any help would be apreciated...thanx

The legacy amp will not put out even close to 3000 watts. Better to get an 800 watt amp by a better company.
The sub will be ok if the box tuning is low enough, and we need to know the length of the ports to find that out. The longer the port, the easier it will be on the sub.

Your box is tuned to around 45 hz, which is a little over 50 hz after port displacement so you should tune it a little lower for normal listening and to make it easier on the sub.
What kind of amp you can get really depends on your budget.

I agree.... tuned way too high for a good sounding daily driver....
I would think the legacy amp in question is probably the same as the pyramid2400 and the lanzar 1200D, in which case it should do around 1000wrms with 12.5V
If you can get one cheap it might not be too bad...
