The legacy amp will not put out even close to 3000 watts. Better to get an 800 watt amp by a better company.
The sub will be ok if the box tuning is low enough, and we need to know the length of the ports to find that out. The longer the port, the easier it will be on the sub.

Your box is tuned to around 45 hz, which is a little over 50 hz after port displacement so you should tune it a little lower for normal listening and to make it easier on the sub.

What kind of amp you can get really depends on your budget.

I agree.... tuned way too high for a good sounding daily driver....

I would think the legacy amp in question is probably the same as the pyramid2400 and the lanzar 1200D, in which case it should do around 1000wrms with 12.5V

If you can get one cheap it might not be too bad...

Lengthen the port or decrease port area is the easiest way to lower tuning.
